THE NEWS YOU HAVEN’T SEEN

We Love Ideas

Freedom of speech is a person’s right to speak his or her own opinions, beliefs, or ideas, without having to fear that the government will retaliate, restrict, or censor him or her in any way.

Without freedom of speech, we don’t have the free and open debate of ideas.

And without the free and open debate of ideas, we’re doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.

inothernews.co.nz is a place to see the other side of some of today’s most important stories and to discover their significance to democracy, civil liberties and our New Zealand way of life.
